Akintunde and Masami Omitowoju,
holding hands, are flanked by his mother-in-law and sister-in-law
during their wedding reception in Japan a couple of weeks ago.
(Ah-keen-TUNE-day and Mah-SAH-mee)
They got married at Chapel Dulcinea a year ago
and they live in Austin, but their friends in Japan
wanted them to have a Japanese wedding reception
even if it was a year after the fact.
Akintunde is a Nigerian prince but he’s not the one who’s been sending you those emails. And yes, he’s as tall as he looks. “TUNE-day” means junior or little, hence Akintunde means “Little” Akin. Funny, huh?
Anyway, all the senior executives at Nintendo attended the reception in Japan because Akin is kind of a big-deal video game programmer.
