Audrey Hepburn
was posthumously awarded the The Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for her humanitarian work. She was one of only a very few people ever to receive all four major awards; an Oscar, an Emmy, a Grammy and a Tony. In 1999, she was ranked as the third greatest female star of all time by the American Film Institute. (Katharine Hepburn and Bette Davis were numbers one and two.)
