Moose stands vigil outside the church where
a fellow Iron Horseman lies quietly in a box.
Dear Wizard Friends,
I realize this is probably not the best way to contact you regarding the MMM, but I didn't know who else to send this email. I know that you will graciously pass this along to the proper recipient.
I read the MMM this morning and had a comment on the first rabbit hole photo and note….it is a picture of a person standing outside the church and says “Moose” is standing vigil outside the church of a passed fellow member…but that is not the case. If you were associated with the “biker lifestyle” you would understand and notice that the person's back patch says, “Property of Moose”. This means that the person is actually Moose's “ol lady”. She is the “property of moose”…this is not Moose himself.
“Ol Ladies” are not allowed in a “member's” funeral in most cases, depending upon the club's by-laws. Ol Ladies do not wear a “cut” but instead wear “property patches” of the member to whom they are attached.
I have had the fortunate opportunity to addend the Academy on one occasion and hope to, one day, return. I love receiving and reading the MMM! Please accept this as just a comment and peek into the biker world of etiquette. Have a wonderfully, glorious day!!
Warmest regards and namaste,
Mary Ann Hoeltge-Page
