The Monday Morning Memo

The YOW! production of
Around the World in 80 Days
will be a first in many ways.

1. the first time an entire theater has been purpose-built for a production.
2. the first time a little Off-Broadway theater, (just 144 seats,) has featured an entire cast of Broadway veteran actors.
3. the first time an Off-Broadway play has actually been profitable as an investment.

That last one – number 3 – was tongue-in-cheek, I suppose. I’m sure a few Off-Broadway ventures have been been profitable over the years, but I can’t name a single one.

This adventure is the brainchild of cognoscenti Cedric Yau. He’s one of us. If New York is a possibility for you, buy a ticket, see the play. Cedric has programmed a significant discount into New York’s online booking engine for alumni of Wizard Academy and readers of the rabbit hole. Our fat and jolly discount code is “wonderland.”  Buy a ticket. See the play. Cedric wants to see his homies and you’re one of them. Let him know you’re coming.

The theater is in the heart of the theater district, literally just a block off Broadway in Manhattan.
