The Monday Morning Memo

Roy

Just thought I would give you a quick update on what’s happening.
February ended up 35% a very strong showing for both stores considering Feb was one of the few bright spots we had last year. March has started unbelievable, both stores are on pace for record months, both stores beat the entire month (last year ) in the first ten days and are very close to making goal. I expect the company to have goal in by the 15th or sooner. I am beginning to catch up and if this continues (which I believe it will ) I will have my life back, financially, as you know I have been blessed with a wonderful wife and have many things that money can’t buy to be thankful for, but it will be nice to get rid of the financial pressure of the last 3+ years.

Anyway hope things are going well with you and will talk to you later.

Thanks

Jon

Random Quote:

“Humans crave patterns. The reason pop music is successful is because almost every song is immediately familiar before you get more than 10 seconds into a first listen. Between the formula of European classical scales and chord progressions that have gelled over hundreds of years and the driving heartbeat rhythms that stimulate our internal organs at the right decibels, listeners are immediately hooked in by familiar structure and themes that have likely been ringing in their ears since they were in the womb. And with the pervasive nature of pop music, where everything is a remix, a feedback loop has been created in which songs are successful because they are familiar, so in order to be successful, songs are created that play on our sense of familiarity.”
