The Monday Morning Memo

Fooling Houdini is a new book that was just released. Steven Levitt, the guy who wrote Freakonomics, said of it, “An eye-opening, irresistible journey into the world of magic… Bursting with energy, inventiveness, and a sense of wonder on every page. I couldn’t put it down!”

The book’s author, Alex Stone, has written for Harper’s, Discover, Science, and the Wall Street Journal. He graduated from Harvard and has a master’s degree in physics from Columbia University.

HIS WIZNESS ASKED ME TO PASS YOU THIS NOTE
SINCE WE’RE TALKING ABOUT MAGIC:

“You don’t want to miss the debut of this brand new class,
Magical Thinking in Business, this November in the tower at Wizard Academy. Jeff and Michele have developed business applications of an old and highly refined technique. You will be able to use this technique to bypass the intellect and inflame secret desires in the hearts of your customers. You will have a lot of fun while you’re with us. You will be younger and more attractive when you leave.” – Indy
