The Monday Morning Memo

This is Sarah Ripley at home in Australia where she has been doing important work as a Wizard of Ads partner. Sarah is a gifted ad writer and a courageous strategist, helping small business owners think beyond their boundaries. Sarah will be spending the next 12 months in Ireland conducting the Irish Small Business Survey. The results of her inquiries will be compared to those of the Canadian Small Business Survey, the Australian Small Business Survey and the American Small Business Survey and then be published as part of the best small business advice book ever written:

20,000 Years of Advertising
Lessons Learned. Fortunes Made.

This book will contain the results of all the advertising experiments performed by more than 1,000 business owners whose combined experience will exceed 20,000 years.

If you’re an Irish small business owner willing to be interviewed by Sarah, please email sarahripley@wizardofads.com

Working together, we can change the future.

Aroo.

Random Quote:

“I had lost my name, my position, my happiness, my freedom, my wealth.  I was a prisoner and a pauper.  But I still had my children left.  Suddenly they were taken away from me by the law.  It was a blow so appalling that I did not know what to do, so I flung myself on my knees, and bowed my head, and wept, and said, ‘The body of a child is as the body of the Lord: I am not worthy of either.’  That moment seemed to save me.  I saw then that the only thing for me was to accept everything.  Since then—curious as it will no doubt sound—I have been happier.”

- Oscar Wilde, De Profundis
