Engelbrecht House was nothing but this drawing until 14 people stepped up and said, “I want that to happen.” You’ll find their names on the doors of the guest rooms. No one pays to stay in Engelbrecht House. Its guests are the guests of the room builders and their fellow alumni at Wizard Academy. We recently received a request from a representative of Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, Connie Britton and Harry Connick, Jr., to ask if they might stay in Engelbrecht House during an upcoming visit to Austin.
