The Monday Morning Memo

Speaking of the Wilster, here he is at 80 years old. You’ll want to be sure and see Willie in the movie, When Angels Sing, when it’s finally released this Christmas. As you probably know, the wizard isn’t a fan of country music even though he likes a lot of songs that most people believe to be country songs.
I asked him the other day why he’s so turned off by country music. He said, “Indy, it’s a terrible thing to have to listen to a grown man whine.”

If you listen to this song by Willie Nelson,
you’ll immediately see why it’s one of the wizard’s favorites.
Willie doesn’t complain, moan, bitch or whine. Willie, he jus’ be happy.
