The Monday Morning Memo

Photographer Rankin established his reputation in 1991, when he and his business partner launched the now cult fashion magazine, Dazed & Confused. He has since photographed subjects ranging from U2 to Gordon Brown,
shot covers for publications worldwide and is now shooting ad campaigns
for some of the best known brands in the world.

When Rolls Royce decided to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of
the sculpting our Spirit of Ecstasy by Charles Sykes, they chose Rankin
to re-imagine the ‘flying lady’ in a contemporary way. Rankin captured
a hundred images, one for each year of Ecstasy’s history.

Those photos have been exhibited in events all over the world and the complete collection is now presented in an exclusive, limited edition book.

A copy of the book is on it’s way to Wizard Academy.
We plan to keep it in the dining room of Spence Manor,
whose Atrium doors overlook the veranda in which resides
the 1914 Spirit of Ecstasy, beyond which lies
the spectacular Zubiate Courtyard.

Two nights in Spence Manor will
change your life forever.

“When I finally caught up with Abraham Trahearne, he was drinking beer with an alcoholic bulldog named Fireball Roberts in a ramshackle joint just outside of Sonoma, California, drinking the heart right out of a fine spring afternoon.”
