The Monday Morning Memo

Vess Barnes snaps Adrian Van Zelfden at Wizard Academy while Dr. John Davis looks on.

Adrian Van Zelfden doesn’t have a video, but he does publish a fascinating monthly newsletter called Tidbits in Time. One of the August tidbits is the true story of the birth of the modern internet: a paper written by Tim Berners-Lee in March, 1989, in which he describes Hypertext Markup Language (HTML,) throwing open the door for individuals to navigate among diverse networked computers.

The story of Berners-Lee reminds me of something
I heard Adrian Van Zelfden say one day,

“Talent hits a target that no one else can hit.
Genius hits a target that no one else can see.”

Word, Adrian. Word.

Another of Adrian’s Tidbits in Time for August is a link to a YouTube video explaining the scientific way to cut a birthday cake. Believe it or not, the video is really interesting! Watch it and tell me if you agree.

Indy Beagle, Out.
