The Monday Morning Memo

You can smell the sea from Dog Point.
Salt air, harbor bells, seagulls and sails. A floppy hat to keep the sun from burning your nose. You can wear that same floppy hat when you tend the grapevines. And those vines surely need tending. It feels good to be needed.

I am called in two directions.
I look one way and see the fields.
I look the other and see diamonds on a sun-bright sea.

The only hard choice in life
is the choice
between two good things.

What good things must you choose between today?
