Educators assume the answer is education.

Capitalists believe it’s purely economics.

Diversitizers think it’s diversity.

Methinks the problem is more than one problem and a good deal more nuanced.

Simply putting an impoverished individual in college isn’t the answer … it’s more a reflection of the greater problem.

What if the answer is economic equity and every persons income was capped at $100,000 annually… that if you lived in a house over 2000 sq ft you paid a hefty luxury and climate impact tax.

The real thing is everyone likes to talk about what everyone else should do … but most of us don’t really want to have to pay a hefty price to make it reality.
