“On March 18, 2024, I sent these words to a friend of mine with whom I often discuss theology. I asked him to read what I had written to see if he agreed with it before I posted my musings in my Random Quotes database:

Are you holding God responsible for the consequences of your own actions? Are you saying to God, ‘Why did you make me this way?’

"I wasn’t thinking in terms of sexual orientation at all. I was thinking about people who choose to be dishonest, arrogant, combative, self-righteous predators. I was thinking of people who are suffering the consequences of being an asshole, and are blaming God and society for their suffering. It seems to me that assholes always act as though they are being unfairly attacked when the truth is that they brought it upon themselves."
