The Monday Morning Memo

Two of the six cabins in
The Village of the Lost Boys have been sponsored and funded. Our intention is to finish those two, then wait for the other 4 to be funded. The good news is that all the architectural drawings have been approved, the permits have been granted, the fire road has been built and inspected, the septic system has been designed, approved, installed, and inspected, and the electrical service is being installed even as you read this. All of those things were paid for by the Lost Boys, a group of business leaders that has been meeting once-a-year on campus for the past 5 years.

Random Quote:

“Perceptual Reality is the reality that exists in your mind but has no place in the physical world. Friendship and trust are perceptual realities. You can see evidence of them in physical reality, but they, themselves, exist only in the mind. Likewise, your opinions and your moods are perceptual realities – fully real – but they have no physical form in objective reality.

Objective reality does not change. Your perceptions do not alter it. Objective reality is the same for us all, though we live mostly alone in our private, perceptual realities. Our relationships with one another exist in the space where our perceptions overlap or contradict each other.
