The Monday Morning Memo

Michael,

The only way to marry Invisible Heroes to Pendulum would be to use the stories of Invisible Heroes to demonstrate that the right thing to do is always the right thing to do regardless of whether we are in a WE or a ME.

Most of our mistakes come from following the herd, peer pressure, trying to be “trendy.”

My friend Brian Brushwood says,
RESPECT is the echo of a right thing we have done in the past.
FAME is the echo of attention we have received in the past.

But fame does NOT mean we did the right thing. Fame is merely the echo of past attention. Derek Chauvin is a famous police officer.

We have to resist the trends within the cycles of ME and WE and do what is right, regardless of what other people expect, or pressure us to do.

If the “right” thing we do is on trend, we might get praise and fame, but that doesn’t make it any more “right.”

If the “right” thing we do is off-trend, we might be ignored or even criticized, but that doesn’t mean we did the wrong thing.

I hope this was helpful to you.

Roy
