Does it surprise you that a person could notice the strange addition to the cooking instructions on this package, feel the humanity and whimsy and sense of humor of the people who package this bacon, and then choose to buy this brand of bacon from now on because they feel a friendly connection to the people who make it?

This is another example of customer bonding.

NOTE: If you are saying, “Well, I don’t value wit and humor in a bacon company. I want to buy from a company that is more grown-up and serious than that,” I have a message for you. I hope you will hear it, because it will bring you happiness if you do: Lighten up and quit being so serious all the time.
