The Monday Morning Memo

Wizard means “wise man.”
You knew that, right?

This is a 1934 magazine ad for Hennessy Cognac.
I like the art and thought I'd share it with you.

As long as we're talking about
things you maybe didn't know…
You knew that clicking each image in the rabbit hole
would take you deeper into it, right?

You've reached the bottom only when
you see the beagle with the sword.

(For those of you reading this in 2009,
please be aware you took a side-tunnel
from the main rabbit hole and are now in
another rabbit hole from a long time ago.)

Random Quote:

“When news seeped out nearly nine months ago that a physician at an obscure clinic on Japan’s northernmost island was curing colon cancer on a routine basis, the word ‘quack’ was pronounced so often, the international medical community sounded like a duck farm.”

- Tom Robbins, Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas, p. 48
