So what did I do?
I Googled “Sholem Yankev Abramovich.” Google recommended a Wikipedia entry that included the following:
“His later work became more humane and less satiric, starting with Fishke (written 1868-1888) and continuing with the unfinished Masoes Beniamin Hashlishi (מסעות בנימין השלישי) (The Wanderings of Benjamin III, 1878), something of a Jewish Don Quixote.“
Of course now I had to find a copy of
The Wanderings of Benjamin III.
But this was easier said than done.
