The Monday Morning Memo

I couldn't figure out how to make the video screen smaller. Sorry about that.

In the realm of creativity, few things compare to what a bunch of young guys
will come up with when they have nothing better to do. When I found this video,
it had been seen by only 765 people. These guys had no plan, no motive, no agenda.
They were just fartin' around.

Tom Grimes (President Plenipotentiary of the Worthless Bastards)
will probably make a recruitment call on them.
These guys are definitely Bastard material.

Other notable Bastards include:
Brett “Whinestein” Feinstein, Vice President and founding member,
Michele Miller, famous author and consultant on marketing to women.
JP Engelbrecht, (the shirtless guy who started the dance on the previous page)
Vess “Vess” Barnes. (He's from Amarillo. Need I say more?)
Shel Jacobsen, the wealthy tortoise from Canada.

Be sure to search the rabbit hole next week
for an important announcement about Plaid Shorts 2009,
hosted by the Worthless Bastards.

Random Quote:

“The whole is necessarily everything, the whole world of fact and fancy, body and psyche, physical fact and spiritual truth, individual and collective, life and death, macrocosm and microcosm, conscious and unconscious, subject and object. The whole is portrayed by is, the deepest word of deep ultimate reality, not shallow and partial as reasons are, but deeper and participating, possibly encompassing the Oriental concept of being.

And all this against the hot beach on an Easter Sunday, with the passing day and the passing time. This little trip of ours was becoming a thing and a dual thing, with collecting and eating and sleeping merging with the thinking-speculating activity. Quality of sunlight, blueness and smoothness of water, boat engines and ourselves were all parts of a larger whole and we could begin to feel its nature but not its size.”

- John Steinbeck, Sea of Cortez, p. 150-151, (1941)
