Ain't No Sunshine…

- George Bernard Shaw, after answering several questions from a hostile group of reporters in 1905 who said his new play, "Mrs. Warren's Profession", was little more than "a superabundance of foulness." Shaw answered that his characters "behave like human beings, instead of conforming to the romantic logic of the stage." We have forgotten the reporters, but we remember Shaw.
