The Monday Morning Memo

Make no mistake about it.
When the chick he was carving from ivory
came alive it freaked him out a little
.

The BeagleSword was egg
and the rabbit hole was an ego trip.
Or maybe I’ve got that backwards.

An egg is a seed.
To have egg on your face is to
be identified with the seed of a dream
that failed to spring to life.

LET IT BE KNOWN:
The Wizard Academy business office
– just across the quarterdeck from
The Eye of the Storm lecture hall –
will be known as the Galatea business office.

All you have to do is reach that place
by phone, by email, or by walking in the door,
and your dream will come alive.

“

Chop wood and it’ll warm you twice is a nice sentiment but really it’s more like chop wood and it’ll warm you like 9 times cause first you gotta gather the wood, throw it in the truck bed, unload the truck bed, stack it, pull it from the pile to chop it, restack the chopped wood, bring it into the house, stack it again, then load it into the fireplace.
