The middle of America’s Civil War occurred at the “We” zenith of 1863.
The war began 2 years before that zenith and ended 2 years after it.
Both armies, of course, believed they were “working together for the
common good.” The problem with every “We” is that each group wants
to impose their idea of “the common good” on everyone else. Sigh.
