I Made It Up.
Sort of.
Just a few miles down the road from Wizard Academy,
Jerdone Coleman McGhee of Wimberley, Texas, once held the
Guinness Book of World Records title for a 1992 toss that yielded an
impressive 38 bounces across the Blanco River. That’s right. We bad.
But the current world record is 51 bounces
held by Russell “Rock Bottom” Byars of Pennsylvania.
His videotaped feat happened where the Allegheny River
meets French Creek in Franklin, about 70 miles north of Pittsburgh.
Wizzo is thinking about writing a memo for next Monday called
Flat Rock, Wide Pond. Strangely, it has nothing to do with rock skipping.
Go figure.
