The Monday Morning Memo

The BeagleSword: “emerged from battles undead.”
And the rabbit hole was, is, and will continue to be
an examination of Courage, the twin sister of
that inexplicable little fairy called Luck.

Aroo.

Indiana Beagle

Wizzo loves Calvin and Hobbes. So do I.
It’s one of the few things him and me agree on completely.

In one of my favorites,
 Calvin says,
“C’mon, let’s go try to find a big poisonous snake!”

Hobbes asks with concern, “What will we do if we see one?”
Calvin replies, “Are you kidding? We’ll scare ourselves silly and
run around in circles, screaming like a bunch of loons!”

Hobbes, the ever-present Sancho Panza to Calvin’s Quixote, sighs, “I look forward to when we’re old enough to get our morning jolt from coffee.”
As he peers through the tall grass hoping to find a snake,
Calvin replies, “Ahh, I’ll bet that wears off quicker.”

“A cost-cutter buys grapes and makes raisins. An entrepreneur buys grapes and makes wine. Have you ever seen a person arrive at a party carrying a box of raisins?”
