The Monday Morning Memo

   Here.
Bottom left corner.

You know I can walk in and out of paintings, photographs and illustrations, right?

Wizzo has always liked the story of how Daniel emerged unharmed from the den of lions so he asked me to check this out and see if it’s authentic. I know the underground art gallery in the tower is going to be called the Lions Den but I’m not sure what Wizzo has in mind for this 10-inch illustration.

Yeah, it’s the real deal, alright.  An authentic 1613 illustration drawn by Pieter van der Borcht. Trippy.

Can I come home now, Wizzo?

No? You want me to explore the details? Oh, well.

Random Quote:

“The books one reads in childhood, and perhaps most of all the bad and good bad books, create in one’s mind a sort of false map of the world, a series of fabulous countries into which one can retreat at odd moments throughout the rest of life, and which in some cases can survive a visit to the real countries which they are supposed to represent.”

- George Orwell
