“I think most people are a mixture of introverts and extroverts. An introvert can actually thrive on stage because it enables him to keep a distance from his audience, i.e. introverts are not interested in letting just anybody into their closest circle but that doesn’t mean they can’t perform in public. That’s just a question of practice. As for the skills set needed for presidency, introverts tend to work more deliberately, prioritizing accuracy and checking their work. Extroverts often process and respond more quickly, taking more risks but making more errors. I prefer introverts because mistakes are costly. Introverts are also stronger at long-term recall and problem-solving tasks that require sustained insight wheras extroverts are stronger at immediate recall, divided attention (multitasking), and speech fluency. I think we have currently a president who is a classic example of an extrovert and it’s not turning out well. I think Ossof comes across as a sharp, focused and upstanding individual who would be a great candidate for the presidency. Much better than many of the other likely candidates.”
