The Four Seasons dance to the tune of Father Time on the right
while a pillar to Janus, the 2-faced god of January, looks simultaneously
forward and back on the left. And from the midst of this dance of the seasons
the beagle wishes you and yours a Happy New Year.
Aroo.
PS –
On January 6, most of the Hispanic world celebrates El Dia De Reyes,
remembering the day when the Wise Men arrived
bearing their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
On Three Kings Eve, children set up their boxes to receive gifts
from the Three Wise Men by collecting freshly cut grass
to put in a shoebox for the Wise Men's camels to eat.
