The Monday Morning Memo

Kim_Douglas_Wiggins_BeagleStorm

Did you ever read any of the series by Orson Scott Card in which the principal protagonist was a boy named Ender Wiggins? “Fairy Tale in Dallas” is a painting by Kim Douglas Wiggins that was
auctioned on December 27th but failed to receive the opening bid of $13,000.
I like to call this painting

“Approach of the BeagleStorm.”

Also auctioned was this Kim Wiggins painting of Red Riding Hood and the Johnny Depp wolf.

I’ll see y’all next week.  – Indy

“”To my friends I say, ‘Live your crowded hour.’

To photographers I say, ‘Fill your crowded frame.’

To graphic artists I say, ‘Fill your crowded frame.’

To billboard designers I shout, ‘White space is your enemy! Remember that this board is going to be read from hundreds of feet away! Fill your crowded frame! Expand your image beyond the frame lines! The imagination of the viewer will fill in what you left out! Make everything BIGGER!'”
