The Monday Morning Memo

This is my friend, Mike Fleck, lounging on someone’s steps in Croatia while vacationing with Cathy. I’m going to ask Wizzo to tell you the Mike and Cathy Fleck story next week. I hope he’ll agree to do it.

This 10-minute interview with the late Ray Bradbury is interesting for a number of reasons:

(1.) Bradbury never went to college.
(2.) He pronounces the title of his book Fahrenheit Four-Five-One instead of Fahrenheit Fifty-One like everyone else.
(3.) He taught himself how to write by reading great books in the library throughout his childhood. In this, he mirrored the method of James Michener.

Until next week,
Aroo, Aroo, Aroo to you.
