Candi Staton - The Monday Morning Memo

“Yesterday, following the inauguration of Joe Biden, Amazon.com committed their 800,000 employees, plus their operations, information technology, communications capabilities, and expertise to help the U.S. government vaccinate our nation against Covid-19. 400,000 Americans died of the disease during the tantrum known as the Trump presidency. I think Biden won the Presidency – not because he was a dynamic orator, because he wasn’t – but due to millions of people simply voting against Trump.

Isn’t it interesting to see how people step forward to assist when you admit that you are facing a huge problem and need help? We somehow survived 4 years of antagonistic, ego-driven leadership that vacillated between claims of invincibility and victimhood with the speed of a ping-pong ball in a match between champions. Now that we have a kind and humble soul in charge, people are coming out of the woodwork to assist him. It seems Biden has the perfect temperament and experience to do what needs to be done right now. I believe him when he says, “My whole soul is in this.”

Better days ahead, I think. :)”
