Carolands Chateau is a 67,066 square foot, 98 room mansion in
Hillsborough, California. Considered a masterpiece of American
Renaissance and Beaux-Arts design, the building is a California
Historical Landmark and is listed on the National Register of
Historic Places. The house has a history worthy of Jay Gatsby.
