Craig Arthur lives in Australia so he doesn’t often get to hang out with Roy and the other Wizard of Ads Partners.
Craig finally said, “I need a break,” and flew to Austin. Other partners flew in to meet him here. A rambunctious week.
It was the first time Craig had seen Santiago of Ernest Hemingway’s novel, The Old Man and the Sea, our world-famous sculpture by Jane DeDecker.
It’s a work of art built around a story of determination and persistence, high values at Wizard Academy.
Craig – a major donor – stayed on campus as a guest of the school. That’s one of the benefits of donating at least $5,000 in cash. Major donors can stay in Spence Manor and Engelbrecht House whenever they’re in Austin if the mansions aren’t being used by students. For the record, our student mansions are never rented out to anyone, ever. They were built by donors – successful businesspeople – as a gift to the other aspiring businesspeople of the world. You really need to add a Wizard Academy class to your schedule for 2015. Craig did and he went home electric. You will, too. – Indy
