“So the first thing the Lord says to Abraham is, ‘Come here.’

‘Come on.’

‘Get out of that.’

‘Get out of yourself.’

‘Get out of what other people say.’

‘Give me your hand.’

‘Come out here and look at my world.’

I can imagine Abraham walking out into that moonlit, cloudless night. Have you ever done that? Just stood and looked at the glory of God? And the Lord says, ‘See all that? I can do that if you’ll walk with me. I’ll give you increase.’

No one can achieve beyond the limitations of their own beliefs. Faith is not logical, but it’s not illogical either. Faith is theological. It doesn’t ignore reality, it just adds the supernatural God, – ‘theos’ – into the equation.”
