technology wasn’t really an issue. There was no cable television, no internet; just ABC, NBC and CBS television. FOX had not yet been born. 8-track and cassette tapes didn’t exist, only vinyl records. CDs and MP3s weren’t even an idea because home computers hadn’t yet been invented.
