Jan Beerstraten arrived as a babe in Amsterdam shortly after our
weary and travelworn Pilgrims celebrated America’s first Thanksgiving
feast. Shakespeare and Cervantes passed away simultaneously
just 4 years before those Pilgrims boarded the Mayflower.
