Hey Daniel,

Just watched the tower update. I’m kind of surprised you guys are moving toward the traditional education system of learning tracts. What makes you guys so awesome is the cross-disciplinary approach! Wise-ards were polymaths.

Don’t mean to rant. Just a little surprised you went that direction instead of breaking w/ tradition.

Subject: moving toward a traditional educational structure?

Brian,

Don’t worry! We have no intention of making everything tract and structure based. Students will always be able to take whatever classes they want.

The 7 schools are more for arranging possible classes and instructors into basic groups that allow us to filter out overlapping material and figure out what’s missing.

This arrangement will also help alumni choose an answer to that ever-present question, “What class should I take next?”

Make more sense?
