Your perception of scale in these rooms is altered by the size of the doors and
windows. That window in the back on the right – as with all the windows
in the tower – extends much higher than the windows in “normal” rooms.
The surprising height of the windows and doors suggests to the
subconscious mind that this place was built for giants.
Which, when you think about it, is true.
