F. Scott Fitzgerald, that great symbol of the Lost Generation,
after writing The Great Gatsby but before drinking himself to death,
moved into one of the villas of the Garden of Allah in Hollywood.
It was here that he sent himself self a postcard, saying,
“Dear Scott — How are you? Have been meaning to
come in and see you….”
