The Monday Morning Memo

It’s Payday in the Rabbit Hole!

Ryan Deiss of DigitalMarketer.com fame came to the campus last Friday to speculate, postulate, and make predictions about “The New Normal” post-covid with the Wizard of Ads, and what it is likely to mean to business owners. It wasn’t long before the wizard said, “This would make a great class,” to which Ryan responded, “Let’s ask Indy to put it in the rabbit hole to see if anyone would come.”

So here’s the deal: If the Master of Digital Marketing and the Wizard of Ads put together a Question-and-Answer-based workshop to discuss how to navigate and what to expect in the coming months, would you pay to attend? And if so, would your preference be to attend in person or via Zoom? Make your voice heard to Zac@WizardAcademy.org and we’ll see what we see.

Aroo, Indy

“

The next time you want to scold me for something I have written or said or done – which I hope will not be
often – please do it to my face.
The spoken word lands softly on its feet like a cat that has fallen from a tree. The written word – as I proved in the rabbit hole and you have proven by your email – often lands with a thud and the crack of a fractured relationship.
I offended you by my comments in the rabbit hole. You offended me by your presumption that you had the right to scold me for it.
Are we even now?
And if so, was it worth it?
I have decided to overlook your scolding of me by email and promise never to mention it to you. I wrote this email only to ask you to make sure that I never have to do it again.
