#9 The Lion of Daniel
You remember Daniel of ‘Daniel and the Lion’s Den,’ right? He was told to put up or shut up; to renounce what he believed or suffer for it.
He chose the suffering, but it never came to pass.
This bronze Lion of Daniel will peer down from above the door of Wizzo’s new conference room in the chime tower.
That conference room, obviously, will be known as the Lion’s Den.
I’ll see you there when you next come to visit.
Aroo.

PS – The Wind and the Lion is a wonderful 1974 movie with Sean Connery as a desert pirate and Brian Keith as Teddy Roosevelt. Wizzo saw it 14 times in late ’74 and I’m not exaggerating when I say that. I sat in the theater seat beside him every time. The Cougar sat in the parking lot.
