The Monday Morning Memo

What happened that caused
this girl to be living in the streets
and where is she now?

These things matter to me.

PS: And what happened to the kitten?

CHALLENGE:
Tell this girl’s story in 1000 words or less.
You can use first person perspective with present-tense verbs,
(in other words, the girl will tell her own story during the event,)
or you can use third person perspective with past-tense verbs,
(you, the omniscient narrator, will speak of what happened to this girl.)

Send your story to Jackie@WizardAcademy.org
BEFORE Monday, Feb. 27, 2012

We’ll decide what to do next
after we see how many stories we receive…

Random Quote:

“After examining my prayer life, I can only conclude that there seems to be little or no correlation between the spiritual and emotional intensity of my prayers and their effectiveness. In truth, the power of prayer rests not in the intensity with which we pray, but in the God to whom we pray.” – Richard Exley

Exley then followed his note with a bit of Bible; the words of Jesus in Matthew chapter 6:

“When you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.”
