Monica Ballad, one of the inimitable Wizard of Ads Partners,
sent some fine art for our collective consideration, you and me:
“Kind-hearted Hungarian photographer Sarolta Ban has launched
a project called Helping Dogs with Images. Basically, people
send her photos of dogs in animal shelters and Sarolta creates
interesting Photoshop images that help the dogs find a home.
It’s all about context, you see. And it’s working.”

“At the end of the bridge,
Sinatra goes up to a mezzo-forte high note to crest the phrase
‘as long as a song is strung in my SOUL!’ But he does not breathe then,
as most singers would. He drops easily into a soft ‘I’ll never know…’
This linking of phrases between the inner units, learned from Dorsey,
gave Sinatra’s work a kind of seamlessness.”
