Speaking as the sidekick of a man who makes his living romanticizing things that are not easily romanticized,

I have some knowledge of how it is done.

That being said, I consider Ayn Rand’s character of John Galt – the hero in her book “Atlas Shrugged” – to be perhaps the most absurdly romanticized character in all of literature.  On a whim, I decided to misspell Galt as “Gault” in order to contrast the fictional character of John Galt as a paired opposite to the very real character of Robert Brault.
