The Monday Morning Memo

How does a self-published children’s book author garner global media coverage, reach more than 2 million potential customers in a single day, and zoom upwards more than 1 million spots to the top of the Amazon charts?
(1.) You have to write a truly incredible book.
(2.) It helps to be married to Dean Rotbart and have Maxwell Rotbart as a son.

You may not have those second advantages, but that’s okay, because it’s the first one that really matters. The lessons to be gleaned from Talya Rotbart’s success can be applied by every business owner who would like to attain blockbuster visibility without spending a dime on consultants, social media ads, or news releases.

Random Quote:

“Lord! When you sell a man a book you don’t sell him just twelve ounces of paper and ink and glue—you sell him a whole new life. Love and friendship and humour and ships at sea by night—there’s all heaven and earth in a book, in a real book I mean.”
