The recent wedding of our friend Akintunde got me to thinking about
weddings. This photo of Princess Pennie and Roy’s mom (above) was
taken at the wedding of Roy and Pennie’s son, Rex, in 2004.
The photo of Roy’s mom and dad, below, was taken
exactly 50 years earlier, shortly after they
were married in 1954.
