You have time on your hands.
Most of life is merely urgent. We remain distracted by these urgencies, day after day, so that we never get around to the truly important.
The urgent is rarely important. And the important is rarely urgent.
Taking your family to Barcelona was important. I’ll wager it wasn’t urgent. Am I right?
More than a hundred people have stayed in the Kessler Room at Engelbrecht House since the day you decided to pay for its furnishings. Dozens of them have written notes in the room’s journal thanking Richard Kessler for building the room and you for furnishing it. These delightful people were your guests.
The last time we spoke you were manufacturing private label women’s fashions for the world’s better department stores and you put together some excellent messaging for your company while you were here. Give me an update?
I’m betting you’ve already wandered into
4 Gats in Barcelona. It’s on a strange little side street that feels like an alley but it’s charming. And as you were told, it’s where Pablo Picasso spent a lot of his free time.Perhaps some day in the future people will come to Wizard Academy from around the world and say, “This is where Mordecai Silber used to hang out.”
But they can’t really say that unless you come back for another visit. Do you realize it’s been 3 years?
Yours,
Roy H. Williams
