A noisy market is one in which big events happen routinely: celebrity visits, major sporting events, concerts, protests, solidarity marches, high-profile trials, grand openings, etc. Big things happen daily in a noisy market.

Consequently, a message that would have attracted a lot of attention in most markets will be out-shouted, minimized and diminished by the excitement and ‘noise’ of a noisy market. Big cities are noisier than smaller ones.

People from small cities vacation in large cities for the excitement.

People from large cities vacation in secluded places for the peace and quiet.
