There is a man who is stuck in a crowded room. He doesn’t fit in and feels uncomfortable.
He had a similar feeling a few hours ago.
He had just arrived at the train station. The last time he had been there was 30 years ago when his brother dropped him off.
As he walked up the stairs from platform 3, he entered the main hall of the station and was immediately swarmed by life. Sunlight was streaking down from the windows above, sound was resonating from all directions, and schools of blurry figures were dodging him in every way possible.
The traffic consumed his thoughts.
Who are they? Why are they looking at me that way? Where are they going? Are they moving to or from something? What will they do when they get there? Will they go with the flow or break down the barrier and swim against the current?
Back at his brother’s funeral, family and friends from his past life were all around him.
He asks himself, “What do I do now”?
