The Monday Morning Memo

Born in Italy, Virginio Columbo moved to
Buenos Aires immediately after receiving his education as an architect. Although Columbo died in 1927 at the too-young age of 42, he gave that city 50 of its most beautiful Art Nouveau buildings.

Colombo also painted 3 paintings. Five feet tall by six-and-a-half feet wide, this one is his largest and best. He finished and dated the painting on July 3, 1920. It will soon hang in the pinnacle of the Enchanted Emporium, the new Welcome Center at the entrance to the campus of Wizard Academy.
